A personal dispute that reportedly began in Kerala has led to violence in Domkal’s Ambarpur Ward No. 21 in Murshidabad district. Local sources said Janarul Sheikh was allegedly assaulted by Shaheen Sheikh in Kerala. After returning home, Janarul is accused of beating up Shaheen in retaliation.
Following the clash, Janarul’s house was targeted with crude bombs overnight, leaving a woman injured. Family members alleged that Shaheen Sheikh and his associates were behind the attack. They claimed the accused used political influence to carry out the assault. Damage to Janarul’s home was also reported.
Police reached the scene and detained multiple individuals for questioning. Law enforcement confirmed the bombing and vandalism at the residence. Both sides involved in the incident reportedly identify as supporters of the Trinamool Congress. Security has been tightened in the area as investigation continues.
